The news is that Baba Ramdev and his supporters will join hands with Team Anna and his activists in order to bring in awareness among the people (of five states where election will be held) on issues relating to Lok Pal Bill and Corruption. Is this just the speculation of the people or will everyone witness a union of two strong movements- Of Anna Hazare and Baba Ramdev?

However, Team Anna claims that they have never invited Baba Ramdev to join hands with them.

It is a bugle call for the Congress who should tighten it’s belts.

Just wait and watch the dramatic turn of events in the near future.

And look at Poonam Pandey..She has disgraced the players by tweeting her picture clad in burqa and asking Team India to perform better if they wish to be surprised by her next photo. This gesture if nothing but, a blatant way of taking a dig at the players and making fun of them…total sarcasm of cheap quality…stooping so low.

Grow up Poonam…If you wish to climb up the mountain of popularity by such cheap acts  then, very soon you will find yourself sliding down the same mountain singing Jack and Jill…….Hope you still remember that rhyme.

Does she think that players want to see her almost naked?.. She is sadly mistaken. She is just forcing herself on Team India….Rude and crude way of gaining public attention.

Isn’t there anyone in the country to stop her from doing all these clumsy acts and making cheap statements on twitter…..Well, I guess it is Right to Freedom of Speech she seems to be exploiting ….. carrying it a bit too far…..isn’t it.

So far, the three points of Anna have just  been agreed to by the parliament and referred to the Standing Committee. All the issues will be delebrated by the committee. Do we call this as a victory? What is the guarantee that these three issues would be adopted in government Lok Pal Bill fully. They could even be chopped off appropriately to take the sting out of them….A weak Lok pal Bill?????

How long will the Standing Committee take to scrutinise, analyse and pen down the much awaited Lok Pal Bill? ….God only knows.

Last 12 days were full of drama, agitations, speeches, meetings and what not. As per me the fight has ended before it began. A mere assurance by the government can not be taken as its willingness to adopt essentials of Jan Lok pal bill in the government version of the same.

The politicians and some of the corrupt ministers of the ruling party and opposition have got a breather now and will pull strings to manipulate Lok Pal Bill to retain loopholes permitting the government to amass public wealth and carry on with the corrupt practices on regular bases even after Lok Pal Bill is passed.

The entire nation is feeling happy for no reason. Each one is lauding the efforts of the other.People are dancing to the beat of the drums. Praises being offered for each and everyone.What concrete has been achieved? Nothing. Just a nod by government should not be taken as a victory. It c0uld well be a ploy to stall the entire process of  Team Anna on some technical or administrative grounds at a later stage.

I feel that the agitation and fast should have continued right till the culmination point ie, acceptance of Lok Pal Bill as per the requisites put up by Team Anna.  What will Team Anna do if Standing Committee sits over the bill or amends all the contents?

Therefore, some members of Team Anna should have remained on fast in rotation in other cities of India just to maintain pressure on the government to hasten up the proceedngs. Abrupt ending of fast at RamLila Grounds is a battle lost in vain.

The entire drama portrays lack of forethought, planning, direction and leadership in Team Anna Camp.

I have my reservations if Anna can get anything implemented next time as per his wishes.

Prime Minister, MPs, MLAs, Sarpanch,Municipal Counselors, all state government employees and all group B, C, D employees of central government do not fall under the preview of Lok Pal Bill. Is this not ridiculous? If these are not covered by Lok Pal Bill, then who will come under the Lok Pal.

Another provision is very funny. An officer against whom corruption charges are  proved will be awarded 6 months imprisonment. However, if the charges are not proved, then the person who raised chages against the officer will be sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment. This is utter non logical. How can a government suggest such a thing?

The government is very clever and will try its best to introduce a bill which will shield and protect the corrupt. That is why, Anna and Team Anna strongly oppose the bill and are pressing hard to introduce their version of the bill called Jan Lok Pal Bill.

Please keep reading the posts. Next i shall dwell on likely future course of action to implement the bill.

Anna has hit the nail on the head. He decided to go on a fast at the appropriate time (during parliament session) to pressurize government to succumb to his genuine demands latest by 30 Aug. Will he succeed ? All indications are that the government will wilt under pressure of agitating people and invite Team Anna to talk and amend the government draft of the Lok Pal bill.

The government played into his hands by arresting him thereby, casting him a hero of the masses who are fed up of the corrupt practices in all departments in any organization in the country. Anna is a savior for them. He is a superman for the kids, re incarnation of Mahatma Gandhi for the elders and grown ups and Ravana for the politicians and ministers.

Why did the police arrest him and then, later the jail authorities leave him?… that is a game of the politicians who are badly shaken up with this wind of change sweeping across the entire country like Tsunami.

The political scene in the country reminds me of the musical chairs game. Loud Anna music is on and the ministers/politicians are battling/fighting it out in the middle to save their seats and credibility.

What should be the course of action for Team Anna to get Jan Lok Pal Bill introduced ? I have a few suggestions which, if implemented will surely be positive steps to muster national support, bring in awareness amongst people about drawbacks of Government version of the bill and wake up the government forcing them to agree to amending the government Lok Pal Bill based on the contents of the Jan Lok Pal Bill being advocated by Team Anna.

• Hold an open forum discussion /debate in every school, college, institute, organization, university and social welfare organizations in the entire country on both the versions of Lok Pal Bill (Government and Anna) to gauge the reaction of everyone. This should be under camera and recordings along with the verdict/ decisions of the participant be sent to all TV channels and the Government.  Viewers can know for themselves what is better for India. Accepted salient features of Anna’s proposed bill could then be included in the government bill.
• All TV channels and leading newspapers and periodicals/magazines should list out the pros and cons of the features of both the versions of the bill for the masses to understand and assimilate clearly the implications of each aspect contained therein.

Let us understand and realize that Jan Lok Pal Bill with its provisions will definitely root out corruption to a large extent, where as the government version of Lok Pal bill is merely a lip service and will shield the corrupt.

The fight against corruption must go on. We see a light at the end of the tunnel. That is the light at the entrance to the door of corruption free India. Let us all scramble for it to redefine India as the emerging strong nation on the shoulders of wise, intelligent,capable and spirited youth.

Let us put a stop to this musical chairs game.

Anna as we recollect, is fighting against corruption and hoarding of black money in foreign banks by many. It is a good cause,a good and noble motive to fight for.

It is high time we the Indians realize our rights and wake up to eradicate corruption in all departments and in all walks of life. Our thought process has to change. With a resolve, similar thinking people must unite to weed out corruption which is a termite in our daily routine.

Here are a few things we all can do:-

1. Look within ourselves and pledge to be Mr Clean all the time.
2. Resolve to point out and raise voice against corrupt people when we go to various offices and organizations for our routine work.
3. Visit offices of corrupt people along with associations and groups fighting against corruption.
4. Hold rallies frequently in the entire country to express awareness and support against corruption.
5. Write letters to government bodies against corrupt officials and staff.

I feel that any one who is corrupt himself will never join this band wagon against corruption. Let us design a saffron color scarf or cap or T shirt which should be worn by all those willing to fight corruption. Seeing saffron all around us in large numbers will strengthen bonds between like minded people and will scare the corrupt people.

There has to be a beginning for everything. We all have to take the first step.

They have willingly agreed to sacrifice their life to save 13 crores Japanese. This is an unparalleled example of love for the motherland.My heart and good wishes go out to these great men who have risen to the occasion in the name of mankind.

All this has been caused by the aftermath of Tsunami following a massive earthquake about ten days back.  Almost on the brink of a nuclear disaster, can these 180 brave heroes calm down the radiations? Well i am praying each day every moment for their success and i would appeal to all of you to do the same.

The warning bells have been well heard in United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Russia and many other countries.The radiations have reached many countries so far. An atomic explosion will demolish many countries.

Volunteers have shown splendid courage, love for their motherland, exemplary devotion to duty and strong will power and conviction knowing fully well the results in they fail in their intended task.

Let us try and feel the feelings of these brave men, their families, children and relatives. It is a big emotional challenge and battle going on. We, on humane grounds must pray every to our almighty to give them enough wisdom, skills and confidence to achieve success in their endeavors and come out with flying colors, thus saving their Nation and the people from the biggest ever disaster the mankind has witnessed.

Can nature be more harsh on a country which is known for great customs, traditions, culture and technology? A highly developed country is on the brink of a nuclear disaster and the whole world is watching. What a shame for mankind. Such a calamity can strike any country. Japan has been very unfortunate to be a victim of such a catastrophe.

Help is reaching very slow and in trickles. In such a case, should a nation beg for help or other nations should offer their help on their own ? Well it’s very simple. The entire world should run to help a country under challenges for survival. The United Nations along with other nations must send in medical aid, food and clothing post haste to Japan.

The influential and rich can fly out from Japan to safer places/countries. But, what will the poor people do? It is time for other big powers and countries to voluntarily send their air crafts and airlift  Japanese people and provide them with food shelter clothing and medical aid in their countries in camps specifically set up for the purpose.

All countries and the wealthy and the rich spend so much money on entertainment events, carnivals, sporting events, national functions,celebrations, festivals and the like. Therefore, establishing refugee camps, housing  Japanese people  and looking after them should not be a problem for any country/government. This distribution of responsibility should be undertaken by some organization at International level, may be Red Cross under United Nations.

Moreover,the rich and well established families should adopt one family each from Japan and care for them in all ways. Such a action for a noble cause will be a good gesture in the name of mankind.

At this crucial hour, the entire world should reach out to Japan and offer help of all kinds to help a great nation and save it from a possible disaster.

The Wedding processions often reach the designated venue of wedding (Hotel or Banquet Hall), very late thus, keeping hundreds of impatient invitees( of bride as well as groom) waiting. Nobody wants to wait that long and soon one hears all grumbling, cursing and discussing the Punctuality factor. Statements like “They should have started early”, “They are casual and never punctual”, “One must understand the value of time “. Consequently, the baffled invitees rush for food, gobble down quickly whatever they can and depart before the wedding ceremony even starts. WOW..GREAT.They value time. Very heartening to note this.

Next morning,the same people who were emphasing the need to be punctual in life just a night prior, reach their office or place of work one to two hours late. Good going isn’t it. If one observes  these people over a period of time, it is a shocking revelation that reaching late for work has become their habit. A perfect example of double standards.

Let us ask ourselves a few questions. Why do we all resort to projecting double standards in life? Why cant we be real, original and true? Why do we advocate something which we can’t apply to ourselves?

It is not about waiting and cribbing at the wedding parties, it’s about Moral Values and Ethics of a good citizen. Let us all pledge today to follow the good old sayings, PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH and CHARITY STARTS AT HOME

And i am sure, the nation will progress faster.
