Steven P Jobs, Co Founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Apple. Inc passed away on 05 Oct 2011 at the age of 56 years in San Francisco due to complications arising from a rare form of pancreatic cancer.
He was an American computer entrepreneur who had revolutionized and transformed the Silicon Valley. He designed, developed and marketed one of the first personal computers, The Apple II series. Regarded as the symbol of his company and industry, Steve always worked for the growth of the computer industry. He changed the way the people thought about technology.
During his span of life, he was awarded many honors and awards. Really, the world has lost an amazing human being. His passion, brilliance, energy ,dedication to a cause and several innovations in the field of computers will be remembered for a long long time.
After his resignation as CEO of Apple .Inc, he was called Thomas Edison and Henry Ford of his times.
In Sep 2011, he was ranked No:17 on Forbes-The Most Powerful People. Bill Gates, Microsoft Co Founder commented after his death that the impact of his work will be felt for many generations to come.
