ICC Champions Trophy 2017- Pak Vs SL Match On 12 Jun- Cricket At It’s Lowest Ebb

The last league match of ICC Champions Trophy 2017  on 12 Jun between Pakistan and Sri Lanka displayed cricket at it’s lowest ebb. It was shear pathetic cricket from both sides.

The only positive about the whole game was decent bowling by Pakistan. Leaving that apart, SL batted atrociously playing all cross bat shots and then bowled all over the place, dropping catches like school boys and fielding like novices.

Pakistan showed poor quality of batting and too defensive an approach not befitting of a major tournament. Chasing a paltry target of 236 runs, their batsmen were over cautious and scared of playing their natural game. Irrespective of the result, the class of cricket should not be compromised.

Both the teams were a laughing stock among all cricketing nations and fans across the world.

Overall, it was a mockery of the game of Cricket with total lack luster performance from both side.

Long live the game of Cricket.
