In the 4th match of the Celebrity Cricket League 2012, Chennai Rhinos managed to scrape past lowly placed Kerala Strikers who never were in the driver’s seat in the entire match.

Batting First, Kerala Tigers were all out for 112 runs in 18.4 overs. Pillai top scored with 43 runs. For Chennai Rhinos, Shiva and Vishnu captured 3 and 2 wickets respectively.

Chasing a seemingly easy target, Chennai Rhinos started losing wickets at regular intervals and were just lucky enough to score 115 for the loss of 9 wickets in 19.1 overs. Jiva top scored with 27 runs.

Overall, it was an exciting match which kept the crowds on tender hooks all through the day in the ding dong battle between the bat and the ball.
