Poonam recently visited Sai Baba Temple at Shirdi to offer her prayers and seek blessings of Shri Sai Baba Maharaj.

She was flocked by masses and willingly posed with people who wasted no time in clicking her photos.

The younger generation who is too eager to make it big in their respective fields, must realize that nothing is possible without the blessings of god. Hard work does pay rich dividends but a bit of luck also matters a lot for being successful in life.

It appears, Poonam has matured fast and one may soon see her as a promising heroine in Bollywood films.

Well well, she never bared anything even after several promises during last year except, releasing few of her so called steamy videos (which were as cold as ice).

Where was Poonam Pandey when Porn Queen Sunny Leone was hitting the headlines while being part of the Bigg Boss house? Was she learning her lessons well or waiting for the right opportunity to come into limelight? We have no answers for that.

Poonam must do something silly and extra ordinary time and again. Soon after Indian Premier joined twitter, she welcomed him like this ” i heard that @PMO India is on Twitter- Does he know (sic) that @Poonam  Pandey is on Twitter too…so a welcoming pic “. She tweeted a semi clad photo of hers.

Is it not a shameful gesture? How dare a fame hungry lass welcome a Prime Minister of the biggest democracy in the world in such a disrespectful and sarcastic manner? Will anyone take any action against her for making a mockery of  an event where a leader takes on to tweeting?

Tweeting is not a joke. It is not all fun. Tweeting is a serious business and should be handled seriously.

Poonam, wake up…have some respect for the PM and grow up under proper guidance else, you may be blown away with the winds of time….no where to be seen (therefore, anchor yourself well).

A total of six tweets were sent out- Three on National bravery awards, one holding talks with Foreign Minister of Myanmar and with NCC cadets.

Another tweet  was sent announcing that PM of Thailand would be the Chief Guest for the Republic Day Parade.

His twitter account is @PMOIndia, with around 32,000 followers as on 28th Jan 2012.

However, his tweeting is being considered as a one way traffic. He has not been following anyone. Is it not surprising?

All feel that a PM should try and feel the pulse of the people and reply to those giving suggestions/seeking replies from him on various issues.

The ruling government came down on its knees and accepted Anna’s  Three demands  and agreed to work seriously on Jan Lok Pal Bill. Anna’s efforts were lauded by old and young.

Today. there appears to be a crack in Team Anna. Where is Anna Hazae and his Millions of supporters who vowed to fight for his ideals till death?Where is Baba Ram Dev?

Allegations are being leveled against Kiran Bedi (mis appropriation of funds) and Arvind Kejriwal. Nothing may come out but, the image of Team Anna is being tarnished. Just a few days ago, a chappal was hurled at A Kejriwal. Who so ever is behind the latest developments, has planned the move and played his cards well.

The time has come when Anna needs assurance from the people of India Once again in terms of action) that corruption has no place in our society. Local NGOs and groups/activists must raise/voice  the concerns of Anna once again to impress upon the government to speed up formulation of Jan Lok Pal Bill.

Team Anna may break up due to internal differences  or political pressures but, the spirit behind the movement started by Anna must not die down.

The path to the goal appears long but with will power and determination, nothing is impossible.

Anna has shown the light and now it is time for We The Indians to carry the torch light of Anti Corruption till the final goal.

And look at Poonam Pandey..She has disgraced the players by tweeting her picture clad in burqa and asking Team India to perform better if they wish to be surprised by her next photo. This gesture if nothing but, a blatant way of taking a dig at the players and making fun of them…total sarcasm of cheap quality…stooping so low.

Grow up Poonam…If you wish to climb up the mountain of popularity by such cheap acts  then, very soon you will find yourself sliding down the same mountain singing Jack and Jill…….Hope you still remember that rhyme.

Does she think that players want to see her almost naked?.. She is sadly mistaken. She is just forcing herself on Team India….Rude and crude way of gaining public attention.

Isn’t there anyone in the country to stop her from doing all these clumsy acts and making cheap statements on twitter…..Well, I guess it is Right to Freedom of Speech she seems to be exploiting ….. carrying it a bit too far…..isn’t it.

Recently, she released her photos (bony derriere) on her twitter creating stir all over in the name of  motivational effort for Team India. She further announced on twitter the release of another more steaming motivational photo of hers, if Team India won the 2nd ODI against England. Very brave indeed….

Why does she use cricket and Team India to climb up the ladder of popularity? Purely childish, cheap and vulgar it is for a girl to stoop so low to become an apple of everyone’s eyes by way of such gimmiks. And, i am too sure that no sportsman worth his salt will fall prey to such luring announcements.

It is a disgusting feeling when sports are linked to vulgar antics. The sports authorities must  put an end to such practices legally. If girls like Poonam declare baring all and sticking up obscene pictures all over, the day is not far when many other girls will mushroom to bare for other sports teams as well.

Will you like to hear some lass  say” i shall bare all if our hockey team wins the match….or…” i shall bare all if our archers win the championship… In this manner, soon, Nudism will be a fashion in India… We certainly do not want this trend setting in please…..Moreover, such acts leave a very bad impression in the minds of children.

Hey Poonam Pandey… Please mature faster and follow some ethics. If you think you are too daring and a die hard cricket lover, well,, try your luck getting into Indian Women’s Cricket Team…. Good  Luck.

England are the reigning T 20 World Cup Champions. They dethroned India, the No 1 test side in the world. Can India take a revenge and defeat England? Well, that is yet to be seen. Just wait and watch—–Indian team will beat England hollow.

Team India has the following advantages:-

• Champions in this format of the game- Familiar with the game.
• IPL has boosted it’s confidence.
• Test matches have taught players( 8 who played tests) how to play rising short pitched deliveries.
• Motivation and Confidence are high. Will to do well for national pride.
• Win over Kent restored self confidence in players.
• Players fully acclamatized to Englang weather conditions.
• Tendulkar, Dravid, Raina ,Kohli in form. Other players wil sparkle too.
• Ashwin, M Patel and Parveen Kumar are experienced enough not to concede runs.
• Ashwin when in form can be very devastating.
• Dhoni is a pure “gully” cricketer— at home with Lappa cricket.
• Over confidence may let England down.
• England team is relatively in experienced. Three new players in Jos Buttler, Ales Hales and Ben Stokes.

The lessons learnt during test series will pay dividends now. The team is well knot and raring to go. I have no doubts that Team India will rip apart England in T 20 match and convincingly win ODI series as well.

I wish to highlight salient aspects of each point and likelihood of it’s success on implementation.

 Citizens’ Charter

• Meaning: Every ministry,organization and department has this charter. It includes details of services being provided to the citizens. The objective is to improve quality of services. It lays down how people can contact officials, what all services to expect and whom to report if they are denied proper services.
• Control: One governing body can not control honest discharge of duties by those responsible to execute the charter. I feel, a separate law needs to be framed to control the charter implementation in all states.
• Efficacy: No amount of charters or laws can eradicate corruption and dishonest people from our society. The entire gamut is a lip service. In due course of time, the functioning in all departments will return to their existing levels of corruption.

Lower Bureaucracy Under Lok Pal

• Meaning: Every country has bureaucracies at state  and lower levels in order to administer policies of the government in an organized manner. But, it is a known fact that lower ranks in any organization need to bribe the higher ups to remain on the roll. The network of bribes and corruption is very wide and rock solid.
• Control: One Lok Pal can not control all the bureaucracies. A large number of Assistant Lok Pals heading numerous committees would be required to nab corrupt people. A separate law may be required to assist Lok Pal and quickly punish those found guilty on charges of corruption.
• Efficacy: No amount of vigil and anti corruption laws can root out corruption from our bureaucratic layout. New ways and means can always be found out practice corruption at all levels.

Lokayukta In States

• Meaning: Normally, any sitting /retired judge of supreme court, sitting or retired Chief justice and/or judge of high court is appointed as Lokayukta by the state. Any person can complain against any public servant or put up grievances as per prescribed procedure to Lokayukta who will be empowered to enquire and investigate such allegations/grievances. He will have his staff to assist him in discharging his duties.
• Control: Since Lokayukta will be appointed by state authorities ( normally the governor), he/she will remain a slave to the state.
• Efficacy: I wonder if a Lokayukta can do justice to his duties if the state government controls the appointment. Political influence may hamper honest efforts of Lokayukta who may just end up as a puppet at the hands of the ruling party.

Conclusion. I consider Anna’s and India’s fight against corruption as the first round of boxing bout between Anna ( in the red corner) and Government ( in the blue corner). The first round has been won by Anna. But after three rounds, the referee will announce the result as ” WELL FOUGHT RED, BLUE IS THE WINNER”
