Now you can download Microsoft’s new web browser, Internet Explorer 8 form Microsoft’s official website. It is supposed to be “one of the fastest web browser in the market” with some new features like Instant Search, Accelerators and Web Slices – basically right-clicking on highlighted text to bring up a list of routine tasks like mapping, e-mailing, definitions, translation, and much more.
This browser has been in beta version for over a year now, so it’ll be interesting to see how the final version will perform. Million dollar question now is …

My affinity for Firefox comes as much from the fantastic community of addon developers as it does from the program itself. Now, I’m sure you will have heard of some of these before: good Firefox addons tend to spread like wildfire. I hope I’ve managed to include some that you might have missed.

Chicago (IL) – Safari 4 Beta, which Apple unleashed into the wild yesterday, brings several new features that are not everyone’s cup of tea. Some would like to turn off the flashy features because they eat up a lot of CPU time on an average system. Others are simply annoyed by the eye-candy and want it gone so they can “just browse”.
